Q: How can I place an order? [Back to Top]
A: We offer a secure shopping cart on the site through Paypal where you place an order. The shopping cart will guide you through the check out process. If you have problems with your order you can contact customer service for assistance. All items are listed in Canadian funds. You can choose to pay via credit card; instant funds transfer via Paypal or your existing Paypal balance. If you live in the GTA and are interested in arranging a local pick up we will gladly accept cash for your order!

Q: I live in the GTA and want to pick up my order - how can I do that? [Back to Top]
A: Upon check out simply select the Cash/Local pick up option. We will contact you to finalize pick up of your order! Pick up in Toronto is available at the Yonge & Eglinton subway station area. In Niagara Falls we will contact you to make arrangements! If you have any questions regarding local pick up orders please feel free to email us to work out the details.

Q: I live in the GTA/Niagara Region but want my order mailed - can you still do that? [Back to Top]
A: Of course! If you are within the GTA/Niagara (applicable to any postal code starting with M or L) and would prefer to have your order mailed to you we can usually do so for a discounted rate. Please contact us before placing your order so we can apply the proper shipping prices to your order.

Q: Why do I have to create a login before I can checkout? [Back to Top]
A: Mommy's Lil Monkey wants to offer you the best shopping experience on our site. Creating a login 'identity' allows you to save your shipping/billing addresses and you are able to save your shopping cart contents (in case you need to leave the site and come back later). Best of all by having a log in identity you'll be eligible for future discounts, members only specials and eventually a gift registry too! Only shipping information and email address are saved for future use, we NEVER collect your payment information. Q: Do I need a Paypal account to purchase from your site? [Back to Top]
A: No you do not need a Paypal account to use our shopping cart checkout. You can sign up for one at the time if you choose to, however it is not required. Further information on how a non-Paypal member makes a purchase via their credit card is available here.

Q: How secure is Paypal and my information on your site? What about privacy? [Back to Top]
A: Mommy's Lil Monkey respects your privacy and you can review our privacy policy here. All financial transactions are handled through Paypal and Mommy's Lil Monkey never has access to this information. Any concerns regarding security or privacy can be directed to customer service.

Q: How will my item be shipped? [Back to Top]
A: All items are shipped via Canada Post within 72 hours of purchase (with the exception of custom orders). Shipping fees are listed in Canadian dollars and include insurance and a tracking number. Larger orders (up to 5kg) can be shipped via our flat rate service - contact customer service for more details. You will be notified when your item has been shipped and a tracking number will be provided. Mommy's Lil Monkey is not responsible for any International customs fees, importing fees or taxes that may be charged after shipping.

Q: So how much is shipping? [Back to Top]
A: All items are shipped via Canada Post. To see how much an item will cost to ship to you simply add the item to your shopping cart. On the shopping cart page select the "Estimate Shipping" button (on the bottom left). Once you have entered your information the shipping fees will be listed. Please note that shipping to the L,M and N postal code areas will be less then listed and the difference will be refunded!

Q: Do you ship outside of Canada? [Back to Top]
A: Of course! We are bananas for our International customers! See above for more information! All of our prices are listed in Canadian funds - Paypal and your credit card company will take care of the exchange and conversion into your country's currency. We can accept US Dollars, Canadian Dollars, Australian Dollars, Euros, Pounds Sterling, Yen, New Zealand Dollars, Swiss Francs, Hong Kong Dollars, Singapore Dollars, Swedish Kronor, Danish Kroner, Polish Zloty, Norwegian Kroner, Hungarian Forint, Czech Koruna, Israeli Shekels and Mexican Pesos via Paypal.

Q: Why has my package come in a box/bag that was used before? [Back to Top]
A: We are a green business and believe in recycling, reusing and reducing where ever possible. If we have a box or bubble mailer that still has life in it after a mailing or two we will choose to re-use it. This means lower handling fees for you, less waste and a happy planet. Rest assured what comes inside the wrappings will be beautiful and brand new just for you! If you are sending a gift and want brand new packaging please contact us so we can accommodate your request.

Q: What is your return policy? [Back to Top]
A: Unless found to be defective, damaged during transit or grossly mis-represented sales are considered final. Please be mindful of the nature of handmade items - our products are one of a kind and HAND crafted with love. Due to the personal nature of our nursing pads, wipes and diaper liners these items are final sale. Should you have a concern about your order and wish to discuss it with us please feel free to contact customer service. Mommy's Lil Monkey will work with you as best as we can to make sure you are bananas about your purchase!

Q: I have a fabric/colour/style in mind for an item - can you create a custom order for me? [Back to Top]
A: We will gladly discuss the possibility of a made to order item for you. However some fabrics/supplies etc are not available in Canada and may restrict your request. Contact us and we will see what we can do! Note that we do not craft with licensed or copyright fabrics (i.e. Disney, Dora, sports teams, etc.) as it is illegal to resell such items. We highly recommend checking out Tonic Living's amazing fabric selections - Mommy's Lil Monkey frequently orders from them and since they are local we can get the supplies quickly!

Q: Why do you only offer 1 or 2 of an item? The item I wanted sold out can you make more? [Back to Top]
A: We pride ourselves on offering UNIQUE and original hand crafted items. To make sure that your monkey will always have the original Mommy's Lil Monkey creation we limit our items to only a few for each style/colour/fabric. It's better to stand out and make a statement then to fade into the background! If an item is sold out but your monkey must have one contact us and we can see what we can do!

Q: I am a store owner who wants to carry your items/place a wholesale order/offer a consignment deal what do I do? [Back to Top]
A: Fantastic! We love to make our items available to even more monkeys! Please contact Julia to work out the details. Currently we are accepting consignment deals only within Canada. Wholesale orders are dependent on product availability, supply costs and time restrictions.

Q: I am a craft show organizer who would love to have you as a vendor what do I do? [Back to Top]
A: Excellent! Visit our page on shows for more information on how to contact us and what shows we would love to do!

Q: I am a proud Canadian Mom who hand crafts an item(s) I think would be a great addition to the monkey family how can I join? [Back to Top]
A: We'd love to see your work and are always looking for new Mommy Monkeys to add to the team. Feel free to contact Julia with a description of your work and pictures, what you would charge for it and where (if applicable) you have sold your item in the past. Please note that all items sold on the website will be branded in some way with the Mommy's Lil Monkey logos/tags either directly or via a hang tag.
